Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, GA
Oakland Cemetery is one of the largest public parks in Atlanta, GA. Founded in 1850 as Atlanta Cemetary, and renamed Oakland in 1872 to reflect the large number of oak and magnolia trees growing in the area. Oakland is the final resting place of Margaret March, author of "Gone With the Wind."
